These are some sketches for a new piece I'm about to get started on. I wanted to do something about technology in our lives. This piece in particular is about spending too much time in our virtual lives rather than face-to-face relationships. The man in this image is playing a game of poker next to his friends (laptop and phone). Although his friends could be there physically, they're shown playing the game from a laptop and phone, because of the laziness the society has come to. Chairs are at the table representing 'absence' and this man's lack of real face-to-face relationships in his life.
